Jaime Jurado was born in Lucena, Córdoba in 1976 and graduated from Mateo Inurria School of Applied Arts and Crafts in Córdoba.

Many of Jurado's artworks are created using a wide variety of mixed techniques, including the incorporation of collage to develop large-format pieces, resulting in expressive and stunning works.

In his paintings, Jurado combines his perception of reality with subjective brushstrokes and newspaper clippings, sometimes incorporating words that seem to whisper expressions from distant places into his landscapes.

Each of Jaime Jurado's artworks exhibits an enormous richness in aesthetic quality, offering a perspective that guides the viewer from an objective reality, filtered through his unique lens, to a point of serene beauty that his art conveys. 

Jaime Jurado is currently the only living painter represented in the collective exhibition at the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum. This cultural exhibition of master works in painting brings together unique pieces from Picasso, Chillida, Miro, Sorolla as well as many other painters of exceptional talent and genius.
